Composition: Each gram of powder contains 222 mg of lincomycin in the form of hydrochloride and 444 grams of spectinomycin in the form of sulfate.
Mechanism of action: Lincomycin is an antibiotic from the lincosamides family that prevents the synthesis of bacterial proteins by binding to the 50 S ribosomal subunit, and spectinomycin is an aminocyclitol and prevents the synthesis of bacterial proteins by binding to the 30 S ribosomal subunit. These two synergism substances are effective on gram positive and gram negative bacteria as well as mycoplasmas.
Uses: prevention, control and treatment of many diseases caused by bacterial agents sensitive to lincomycin + spectinomycin, such as CRD and CRD complex, pasteurellosis, staphylococcal infection, salmonellosis and spirochetes, as well as increasing the growth of chickens.
Administration and dosage: 20 to 30 mg of powder per kilogram of live weight per day. or as prescribed by the veterinarian Poultry: Prevention of CRD and CRD complex: 150 grams of powder in 200 liters of drinking water in the first 3 to 5 days of life. Treatment of CRD and CRD complex: 150 grams of powder in 150 liters of drinking water in 3 to 5 consecutive days. Growth promoting: 150 grams for 30,000 to 40,000 birds daily in the first 3 to 5 days of life. Turkey: 150 grams for 10,000 to 14,000 birds daily for the first 3 to 5 days of life.
Storage: keep in less than 25 ͦ c and protect it away from straight sun light. Keep out of reach of children.
Withdrawal time: 5 days before slaughter
Drug interactions: Simultaneous administration of lincomycin + spectinomycin with florfenicol and macrolides may cause drug interactions.
Precautions: If there is no improvement in the cessation of symptoms after 3-5 days of treatment, check and re-evaluate the diagnosis of the disease. Do not give the prepared solution to other animals except poultry.
Do not use in laying hens whose eggs are for human consumption.
