  • Composition: Each milliliter contains 200 mg of neomycin sulfate.

 

  • Indications for use: Neomycin is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic that has an effect on gram-positive bacteria and some gram-positive bacteria. This drug is used to treat calf diarrhea, colibacillosis in cattle, sheep and goats, salmonellosis in cattle and sheep, bacterial enteritis and enteritis combined with CRD in poultry, blue comb disease in turkeys, and other neomycin-sensitive injuries..

 

  • Administration and dosage:
  • Broiler chickens from one day old to 2 weeks old at the rate of 1 ml per 4 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days. From 3 to 5 weeks old at the rate of 1 ml in 3 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days. From 6 weeks to the end of the breeding period, at the rate of 1 ml in 2.5-2 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days.
  • Turkeys from 1 to 7 days old at the rate of 1 ml in 2.5 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days. From the second week to the end of 8 weeks at the rate of 1 ml in 1.5 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days. From 9 to 26 weeks old, at the rate of 1 ml in 1.2 liters of drinking water for 3 to 5 days.
  • Cattle, sheep and goats, 11 ml of the solution per 100 kg of body weight, 22 mg of neomycin sulfate per kg of body weight body in drinking water for 3 to 5 days.

  • Contraindications: In cases of allergy to aminoglycosides and in kidney failure and intestinal obstruction, oral use of this medicine is prohibited. Do not use in dairy cows during the lactation period.

 

  • Withdrawal time: 7 days in broilers, 30 days in cows and goats. In sheep 20 days and in turkey 14 days before slaughtering, the drug should be stopped. Eggs from treated chickens should not be consumed by humans until 14 days after the last administration..
